AB InBev May Be Ready To Start Buying

Selling more than US$36bn worth of beer a year, AB InBev is a beast of a company and nearly 1.7 times the size of Heineken (see first chart). Borne out of the Belgian-Brazilian giant InBev's monumental US$52bn acquisition of America's Anheuser-Busch (AB) in 2008, AB InBev has been doing an excellent job of lowering the debt burden it was saddled with from the deal. Total Debt to EBITDA has been cut down from a five-year high of 7.8 to 3.3 in its last financial year, which aligns it much more closely with its rivals. So well has AB InBev done
