Aqua Poised To Tap On Indonesia's Growing Thirst For Bottled Water

A sustained inflationary environment is arguably the biggest challenge faced by Aqua Golden Mississippi, the largest bottled water company in Indonesia, in the near term. Elevated raw material costs are eating into Aqua's profit margins and yet the company cannot easily pass on the inflationary burden to consumers, with consumers looking to cut down on their discretionary spending amid an inflationary environment. We are, however, optimistic about Aqua's long-term prospects, and believe that the company's strong expansionary focus should leave it poised to remain on the firm double-digit trajectory it has enjoyed in recent years.
