Hite Brewery's (the leading brewer in South Korea) sales has been rather lacklustre for 2010. Besides struggling to grow revenues, its earnings have also been affected by high marketing and rising labour costs. Longer-term, Hite can look to strengthen its exposure in the higher-value spirits and wine sectors as well as expand into higher-growth markets such as China, Russia and South East Asia to support its long-term performance.
