Nestlé Set To Acquire Diversified F&D Firm Centroproizvod

Nestlé is about to strengthen its position significantly in Serbia, after agreeing a deal to acquire Centroproizvod, one of Serbia's leading food companies. Centroproizvod has a pretty strong position in a number of food and drink segments, including soups and a range of confectionery products. The deal forms part of Nestlé's strategy to strengthen its business in the Balkans.
