Couche-Tard's Growth Potential Reflected In Share Price Movement
June 2011 | Company News AlertCanadian convenience-store operator Alimentation Couche-Tard has agreed a deal with ExxonMobil to purchase of 322 sites and supply an additional 65 Mobil-branded outlets in Southern California. At the same time Couche Tard announced that its Mac's Convenience store unit had acquired an extra 38 units, comprising 26 stores in the Mid-Atlantic region and 12 in Canada. These acquisitions follow the unsuccessful bid for US-based convenience chain Casey's and underline that the firm remains highly ambitious with regards its expansion plans.
