While Pernod Ricard can certainly claim to have one over on Diageo in Asia where it has grown tremendously over the past few years, it is a different story in Africa. Although Africa is currently a much smaller kettle of fish than Asia when it comes to spirits, there is definitely promise there and long term there are bound to be some tremendous opportunities across Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA).
