Greek Soft Drink Market Declining, But Boost For Local Brands
July 2011 | Industry NewsThe marketing director of Greek soft drinks producer Loux has suggested the firm is benefiting from a trend towards local brands as consumers look to adjust to the country's economic problems. The firm registered a 20% rise in sales for the first quarter of 2011 and marketing director Plato Marlafeka told news website just-drinks.com that there had been a clear switch to local brands that had helped Loux gain market share.
