PepsiCo Could Target US Yoghurt With Müller; Move Is Supported By BMI Forecasts

A report in the Wall Street Journal suggests that food and beverage giant PepsiCo is set to team up with German dairy giant Müller to expand into the US dairy market. The report says the firms may announce a new yoghurt brand in November and the move would fit with PepsiCo's recent interest in expanding into healthier food categories. The yoghurt sector is currently a dynamic part of the US food sector, thanks largely to the ongoing trend towards healthier options.
