Kroger Building Sales Through Focus On Loyalty

US supermarket operator Kroger has continued to defy the gloomy economic environment to post strong results for its latest financial quarter. In the three months to November 5 2011 the firm registered a 5% increase in identical store sales (excluding fuel), while total sales were up [X%] to US$20.5bn. These figures chime with a general pickup in demand across the grocery retail sector.
