Nestlé Going After Angolan Growth

We have highlighted Angola's growing profile in the global food and drink industry recently and it ranked fourth in BMI's inaugural Sub-Saharan Africa Risk/Reward Ratings (see 'Nigeria And South Africa Way Out In Front In Inaugural Sub-Saharan Africa Risk/Reward Ratings' in our online service, October 20 2011). Nestlé has just announced that it is investing US$11mn to build its first plant in Angola. This is part of a wider push on a much grander scale regionally as it plans to spend nearly US$1.5bn in capacity expansion to grow its business in Africa over the next few years to 2015. Right
