Coca-Cola plans to open its first bottling plant in Bangladesh as it looks to cater to burgeoning domestic demand of carbonated soft drinks. With per capita soft drinks consumption remaining particularly low, there is certainly tremendous room for growth that Coca-Cola could capitalise on. As Coca-Cola expands in Bangladesh, distribution will be the biggest challenge for the company, and it could look to implement its Indian distribution model in Bangladesh to facilitate its nationwide spread.
