Secondary-Tiered Cities To Offer Stronger Prospects For Burger King

US fast-food chain operator Burger King plans to set up more stores in Indonesia as it looks to further consolidate its presence in this high-growth market. While we see merit behind Burger King's strategy of focusing on the first-tiered cities in Indonesia given the existence of a high-spending consumer base, we believe that it will need to make early forays into the secondary and tertiary cities as well as engage in continual product innovation to lock in future growth.
