Emmi Takes Cautious Approach To International Expansion

Swiss dairy producer Emmi has denied speculation that it is keen to acquire full control of Spanish dairy firm Kaiku. Reports had appeared in Swiss business newspaper Handelszeitung suggesting that Emmi was looking to secure full ownership of the firm (it currently has a 43% stake). However, a spokesperson for Emmi stated that the company is not keen to raise its stake and was instead interested in intensifying cooperation.
