Camel Milk Shows Untapped Potential
May 2006 | Industry NewsThe United Nation's Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO) has predicted that camel milk may be the 'next big thing' to sweep the food industry, and is encouraging greater investment into its production. Camel milk is a popular commodity, not just in the Middle East, but all the way from the Western Sahara to Mongolia, with supply outstripping demand. Although the FAO does admit that there will be some marketing challenges to first overcome, it believes that this should not deter investors and producers.
