Nestlé Merges With Turkish Water Bottler

Swiss company Nestlé has announced that it will merge with Turkey's number one bottled water group Erikli, and will hold a 60% stake in the merged company. The deal must first be approved by the country's competition board, but if it goes through, this will place Nestlé in an advantageous position to tap into Turkey's bottled water market at a time when it is consistently reporting doubt-digit volume growth.
