Tesco Kipa, the Turkish branch of UK retailer Tesco, has announced that it plans to invest GBP100mn into its Turkish operations in a bid to seize market leadership. According to local press reports, the company has stated that it expects this year's turnover to reach GBP350mn as it plans on opening new branches in Bornova, Corlu, Konya and Usak by the end of 2007.
