Knorr Expands Product Offerings In Kuwait

Kuwait is heavily dependent on food imports, due to its hot, arid climate, lack of arable land and limited water supply, which severely inhibit domestic agricultural production, with only 1% of the land under agricultural development. The Kuwaiti economy is dominated by oil and, with crude prices set fair over the medium term, BMI expects growth to remain solid. Expenditure on food per capita is not expected to rise much over the forecast period, and this spending as a percentage of GDP is forecast to drop by 18.8%, reflecting the growing wealth of Kuwaiti
