Vietnam has experienced explosive growth in its dairy sector in recent years, which is why it should come as no surprise that this sector is attracting the attention of international companies looking to invest in the country. According to BMI figures, per-capita consumption of dairy products in Vietnam skyrocketed between 1990 and 2000, shooting up by 102.1%. Dairy products are not a traditional part of the daily Vietnamese diet, and have often been viewed as the reserve of wealthier consumers.
