Source Of E.coli Outbreak May Never Be Fully Explained

Federal and state inspectors in the Salinas Valley, California, go on searching for the source of the outbreak of E.coli bacteria in tainted spinach that has killed at least one person and made almost 200 ill across 25 states. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) last Friday (September 22) gave the all-clear to spinach produced anywhere except in three California counties: Monterey, San Benito and Santa Clara. The Monterey County Agricultural Commissioner has called for a swift resolution to the problem, amid concerns of widespread unemployment.
