Apex Triumphs In Tnuva Bidding War

Following a bidding war in which several international groups drove up its price, Apax Partners Worldwide LLP, a British buyout firm, won an auction to buy control of Tnuva, after a bid valuing the company at US$1bn. Tnuva Marketing Co-operative is Israel's largest food production company with its main business activities in meat and dairy production, controlling 70% of the country's dairy market, while it also processes eggs and fish.
