Expansion Plans Ahead For Baltic Retailers
January 2007 | Company News AlertVP Market, the largest retailer of food and consumer goods in the Baltic States has changed its name to Maxima LT. The company's subsidiaries in Latvia and Estonia have been renamed Maxima Latvija and Maxima Eesti as a part of a larger marketing drive. The company has enjoyed great success in recent years, and is projecting continued fast growth in the Baltic markets of Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia, projecting sales of approximately LTL7.8bn (US$2.9bn) in 2007.
