APB Feels Expansion Pinch
February 2007 | Company Finance AlertSingapore's Asia Pacific Breweries (APB) has announced a mixed bag of first quarter results, for the financial-year ending September 30 2007. Group revenue for the three month period is up 5.1% year-on-year to SGD476.2mn, thanks to strong sales growth in the company's established regional markets, while profit before interest and tax (PBIT) grew by just 1% to SGD76.2mn - a consequence of losses incurred as a result of the establishment of Greenfield breweries in emerging markets.
