EBRD Makes Macedonian Investment
March 2007 | Company News AlertThe European Bank of Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) has announced a EUR4mn (US$5.25mn) loan to Vitaminka, the largest branded food manufacturer in Macedonia. This loan will help the company develop new products and support its expansion into the Western Balkans and other regional markets. This is part of an effort by the bank to encourage regional development plans among local companies, and help private domestic companies grow, according to Claudio Viezzeli, the EBRD Director for the Western Balkans, who said that this loan is a good example of such support.
