Nakumatt Announces Ambitious Expansion Plans
April 2007 | Company News AlertKenyan retailer Nakumatt has recently announced major expansion plans both regionally and in its home market. The company has said that it is planning to open new concept stores, including a 24-hour shopping outlet in Nairobi, which should be open by the end of 2007, and will soon be followed by a similar store in Mombasa. Nakuamatt is also planning to launch its own credit card, which will be accepted internationally. Looking abroad, the company is planning to open a number of branches across East Africa over the next 12-18 months. Targeted cities include the Rwandan capital Kigali, Uganda's capital
