Heineken Faces Beer Drought In South Africa

Following the end of its production and distribution contract with a local company that used to brew its Amstel lager, Dutch brewing giant Heineken has been dealing with a shortage of its drinks in South Africa. This has resulted in a shift in the beer rankings, as the Amstel shortage has led many drinkers to turn to Heineken beer, leading it to become the number one beer in the country for the moment.
