Graham Packaging Opens New Plant

American-based packaging producer Graham Packaging Co. announced the establishment of a new packaging plant in Tuzla, Turkey. The new 4000m² production plant will make polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), and polyethylene terephthalate (PET) containers for dairy, personal care, and household products. The company has shifted production from its smaller plant in Istanbul, as it says the new plant is located closer to the company's main customers in the region. This decision to invest further by a major company such as Graham Packaing reflects Turkey's growing popularity as an investment destination for international companies looking to expand their market reach.
