G. Willi Makes Danish Dairy Acquisition

Gold Frost, a subsidiary of G. Willi-Food International Ltd, Israel's largest food importer and supplier of kosher foods, is set to acquire a 51% stake in an unnamed Danish dairy distributor for an undisclosed sum. According to the terms of the agreement, the original owners will retain the remaining 49%, with the deal expected to close by the end of February. Meanwhile, G. Willi's negotiations to acquire a majority stake in kosher and halal meat processor Baladi have fallen through, with the two firms unable to reach an agreement.
