Barilla Looking To Offload Kamps Bakery Division

One of Italy's major food firms Barilla, which supplies around 40% of the Italian pasta market, is looking to offload the Kamps German bakery division it bought just six years ago. According to reports in the German press Barilla has already instructed a Frankfurt-based investment bank to start the sale process with a private equity buyer thought to be the most likely purchaser.
