NTUC FairPrice Reaps Rewards Of Low Prices
March 2008 | Company Finance AlertLeading Singaporean retailer NTUC FairPrice has revealed that it will extend its Stretch Your Dollar price promotion campaign by a further two months after an overwhelmingly positive response from consumers. FairPrice launched the campaign, which has seen 500 private label products discounted by 5%, in mid-December and has since invested SGD3mn (US$2.15mn) in the scheme. The extension - one of a number of measures leading retailers are taking to help consumers ward off the impact of inflation - will cost FairPrice a further SGD1mn
