The moves come at a time when sales at supermarkets in Germany are rebounding thanks to the country's strong economic growth which has made consumers less price conscious. However, the prospect of a new economic slump caused by a worldwide slowdown in demand for the country's exports could quickly curtail this recovery in the supermarket
