Dutch Dairy Giants Set To Merge
April 2008 | Company News AlertDutch dairy cooperatives Royal Friesland Foods and Campina have announced that they plan a merge to become more globally competitive. The new firm would be the world's largest dairy firm and is a response to the growing internationalisation of the dairy industry and the planned phasing out of EU dairy quotas.
