Droga Kolinska Plans To Cut More Brands And Jobs

Droga Kolinska Slovenia's biggest food producer has announced that it will sell off some of its less profitable brands and will lay off 300 workers. This news follows the announcement a month earlier that the company plans on selling five of its brands. Majority owned by holding company Istrabenz Group, Droga Kolinska was formed in 2005 through the merger of Droga and Kolinska. Since 2005, Droga Kolinska has been falling behind its parent company's goals, and as a result, there are plans to reduce the portfolio to focus on the most successful brands.
