Government Looks to Cut Juice and Dairy Costs

The UEA's Ministry of Economy has announced a plan to cut the cost of fruit juices and dairy products in the face of rapidly rising food and drink prices. The government announced that this will be a pilot project in collaboration with the Gulf Organisation for Industrial Consultations (GOIC), which will cooperate with an expert panel to conduct field visits to several dairy and juice factories to assess operations and identify ways to reduce costs of production without compromising quality.
