Budvar Sees Benefits Of Anheuser Deal

Czech brewer Budejovicky Budvar has reported a major boost in American exports, as 2007 export volumes to the US soared by 37% from 8,000 hl in 2006 to 11,000 hl, thanks in large part to its distribution agreement with American rival Anheuser-Busch. Budvar continues to achieve impressive sales results primarily through a growth in exports, now exporting to 53 countries, as overall exports grew by 6% in 2007 compared to the year before.
