Heineken Sticks With Western Europe
April 2008 | Company News AlertDutch brewer Heineken has announced that it is set to buy the beverage division of Swiss company Eichhof Holding for CHF278.5mn (US$281.1mn). The move will boost Heineken's share Swiss beer market to around 23%, up from around 13% at present. The move is interesting because it represents yet another Western European acquisition for Heineken at a time when nearly all other major brewers are seeking to reduce their reliance on this mature
