Coco-Cola Makes Major Investment

US soft drinks giant The Coca-Cola Company has announced its plans to invest US$50mn in expanding and upscaling its Kenyan bottling facilities. This represents one of the biggest capital investments made by the company in Kenya in any given year. Despite the recent spat of violence that has destabilised the country, Coca-Cola has stressed that it still views Kenya as a viable investment destination for the long run, saying that it is confident the investment will yield results.
