Romaqua Invests In Expansions
May 2008 | Company News AlertRomanian bottled water group Romaqua has announced planned investments of EUR7mn (US$10.98mn) in opening a new plant in the country. The new bottling facilities will be located near Miercurea Ciuc in the centre of the country, on a site that was previously owned by Nestlé and Pierre Vittel. With the local bottled water industry booming and as the leading producer, with 25% of local market share, Romaqua has been experiencing strong growth, with turnover reaching EUR130mn (US$203.81mn) in 2007.
