Private Equity Firm Invests In Cott Corp
May 2008 | Company News AlertCrescendo Partners LP, a US private equity group, has acquired an 8.2% stake in private label soft drinks specialist Cott Corp, which is based in Canada. Shares in Cott have been in freefall for more than a year following a string of poor results and negative news. However, Crescendo has revealed that it believes Cott's shares are undervalued and represent an attractive investment opportunity - a position that BMI agrees with and first articulated in April
