Battle For Second Place Among EU Sugar Producers

Two bidders remain in the battle to secure control of the sugar business put up for sale by Denmark-based ingredients firm Danisco. Germany-based Nordzucker and France-based Tereos have both expressed a firm interest in acquiring the unit, while the other major European producers have ruled themselves out.
