Agrokor Invests In Local Distribution Center

June 2008 | Company News Alert

Croatian company Agrokor Group has announced that it is making a major investment in Macedonia, with a EUR20mn (US$30.9mn) distribution centre. This new centre will be located in the southern Macedonian town of Strumica and is expected to be completed by early 2009 to distribute agricultural products in the region. Covering 11,000m², the centre will have the capacity to buy out and export up to 50,000 tonnes of vegetables annually. This is just the latest investment by Agrokor in the region's food and drink sector, as it looks to consolidate its solid regional position.
