Nestlé Yoghurt Sale Delights Fonterra
June 2008 | Company News AlertNew Zealand dairy cooperative Fonterra has secured an agreement to manufacture, market and distribute Swiss food giant Nestlé's Australian yoghurt and dairy dessert businesses for an undisclosed sum. The deal furthers the two dairy majors' long-held global relationship and represents a step in the right direction for Fonterra in pursuit of its dual Australia growth objectives: boosting its fresh dairy presence and securing the acquisition of the country's largest dairy cooperative, Dairy Farmers.
