Iki Latvian Expansion Plans

Lithuanian retailer Iki has announced further expansion plans for the Latvian market, with the aim of opening 10 supermarkets under the Iki banner and several convenience stores under the Ikiukas banner by the end of this year. Having entered Latvia in 2005, Iki has a stated ambition of becoming one of the top three retail chains in the country, with plans to expand its store network outside of the country's main cities and into smaller towns. Given this ambitious goal, Iki will have to continue to press forward with such major expansions.
