National Foods Gears Up For Dairy Farmers Deal
July 2008 | Company News AlertAustralian food giant National Foods - owned by Japanese brewing giant Kirin Holdings Co - has reportedly contacted the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) to propose the divestment of two milk processing plants and a number of distribution contracts and brand licences in certain regions in a bid to facilitate its joint bid for Dairy Farmers, in partnership with Warrnambool Cheese and Butter Factory (WCB).
