CCI Not Willing To Rest On Its Laurels
July 2008 | Company News AlertTurkey's Coca-Cola Içecek has recorded strong second quarter results, despite a general slowdown in the Turkish carbonates sector. According to the company's figures, volumes rose by 9% year-on-year to 151mn cases from 138mn. Volume sales in Turkey increased by 11% to 195mn unit cases in the first half of 2008, driven in part by the popularity of Fanta and the newly launched Coca-Cola Zero. Meanwhile, consolidated sales volume rose by 11% to 242mn cases in the first half, indicating that the company is continuing to perform well, despite rising food and drink prices, which have lead to increasing consumer price
