G. Willi Closes US Subsidiary

Willi-Food has closed down US subsidiary WF Kosher Food Distributors Ltd and has also filed a lawsuit in the New York Supreme Court against a rival company, citing 'malicious interference'. G. Willi has denied that it is closing WF, which was acquired 18 months ago, due to accumulated losses. G. Willi-Food International has recently been on an expansion spree, targeting foreign markets due to the growth limitations of its own domestic market.
