Government Makes Increasing Agricultural Output A Priority
July 2008 | Industry NewsFollowing anti-government riots related to food and fuel prices earlier this year, Cameroon plans to boost its agricultural output. This new priority bodes well for the country's economic growth and will also assist in reducing the risk of spiralling food price inflation. However, limited access to credit and underdeveloped infrastructure will remain significant constraints moving forward.
