Concha y Toro Benefits From Move Upmarket

September 2008 | Company Finance Alert

The firm reports that, in the three months to June, net profits reached CLP11.33bn (US$22mn), an increase of 18.5% compared to the same period a year ago. Meanwhile, sales were up by 3.4% to CLP76.86bn (US$146mn), and operating profit increased 2.8% to CLP13.81bn (US$27mn). These results go some way towards making up for a poor first quarter, when the firm's net profits fell.
