Sara Lee Invests In Production Upgrades

American food and drink producer Sara Lee's Hungarian division Sara Lee Hungary has announced that it plans to invest around HUF1bn (US$5.87mn) in its local production facilities. This is the latest in a series of investments the firm has made in the Hungarian market over the past ten years, totalling approximately HUF7bn (US$41.04mn). This investment is in the company's Rákospalota production facility, located close to the capital Budapest, and will be used to modernise tea production lines in order to apply new packaging techniques and to further solidify its leading position in the country's hot drinks sector.
