Podravka Seeks Growth Through Cost Cutting Measures
September 2008 | Company News AlertLeading Croatian food and drink firm Podravka has said that it expects to record stronger results this year following a cost-cutting campaign. For many years Podravka has been considered an underperforming company, not fulfilling its full growth potential. However, the company's new CEO Zdravko Sestak said that the firm is in the middle of restructuring its product offerings, saying that the firm has 'made serious efforts to cut 'nice to have' items and keep only 'must haves''. Although no actual figures were released, Podravka said it was very confident that this year's results will be far better than in 2007.
