Ajinomoto Looking To Exploit Convenience Urge
September 2008 | Company News AlertAjinomoto Vietnam Co Ltd, the Vietnamese subsidiary of Japanese food giant Ajinomoto, has commenced operations at its new JPY1.3bn (US$12.3mn), Long Thanh-based seasonings plant. The 90,000m² unit will increase output of Ajinomoto's Aji-ngon flavoured seasonings brand to 15,000 tonnes annually, enabling the company to exploit growing consumer demand for convenience in the food sector as it bids to become Vietnam's flavourings market
